Company founder, Jerry Parker, began his career in 1969 as a pool builder and retailer. In 1995 Jerry began offering swimming pool and hot tub products for sale over a strange and new thing called the Internet. The company grew from a “one man” operation to 24 full-time employees; most of the sales professionals were in or had been in the pool/hot tub business for most of their adult life. These people knew every facet of the industry and fully understood recreational water issues.
The company started in the small rural town of Ellington, Ct., midway between Hartford and Springfield, Mass. Unique Solutions was aptly named because Jerry’s company was very unique. Guided by the principles of honesty and integrity, consumers could always tell that products and advice shared by the company was in their best interest.
